[2023/08/20 15:52] Alicia Frakture: Go find the good goblins before chasing the necrophiliac
[2023/08/20 15:53] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me waits for Debben & Dahlia
[2023/08/20 15:53] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: yeah, Debben already confirmed the cruddy goblins were carrying junk.
[2023/08/20 15:54] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): /me puts away her flail into her pack and readys for travelling more
[2023/08/20 15:54] Sonja Bikergrrl: so... you press on
[2023/08/20 15:55] Sonja Bikergrrl: after a lot of walking, you approach a clearing, there's shadowy figures lurking and muttering to themselves
[2023/08/20 15:55] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Ones we recognize?
[2023/08/20 15:56] Sonja Bikergrrl: By the looks of it, Gnoink and friends
[2023/08/20 15:57] Alicia Frakture: Leesha waves to them
[2023/08/20 15:58] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): watches as they approach, keeping a neutral stance and way about her
[2023/08/20 15:58] Sonja Bikergrrl: The shadowy figures jump up and spot you. They approach quickly! "Leesha!" says one. "Good goblins here! Wruk and Uhbug, big warriors, and Ransee, with big magic! ...we go, before chief find goblins gone? He be very angry!"
[2023/08/20 15:59] Alicia Frakture: Leesha nods."Yeah let's go we can fill you in on the way."
[2023/08/20 16:00] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Ransee has big magic?" She looks up, checking which one of the goblins reacts to that. "Well, if it's just four of you, that's a lot easier to talk the humans into accepting. They're willing to take you, but you're going to have to learn from them how to be good." She moves to walk and talk.
[2023/08/20 16:00] Sonja Bikergrrl: The goblins seem quite keen to join you and go. The two warriors proudly show off their crude spears.
[2023/08/20 16:01] Sonja Bikergrrl: "We be good goblins," agrees the non-warrior not-Gnoink goblin. "Like to live with humans."
[2023/08/20 16:01] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): /me "It's great to have you along", she would say while walking with the now larger group
[2023/08/20 16:03] Sonja Bikergrrl: The goblins, although trying to be on their best behaviour, still have uncooth habits and talk about whether they want to eat some pre-roasted rat inbetween coughs and sneezes and various curses and oaths.
[2023/08/20 16:03] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "What does 'good' mean to you, anyway?" she asks, deciding to focus on the core matter instead.
[2023/08/20 16:04] Sonja Bikergrrl: Wruk holds up a skewered burnt rat carcass, with many bites taken out. "Roast rat! Want some?"
[2023/08/20 16:04] Alicia Frakture: Leesha wonders if they can eat the rat while walking. She knows how our luck has been and goblin chief is likely near by
[2023/08/20 16:05] Sonja Bikergrrl: Very little comes between a goblin and their rat, not even cursing each other between mouthfuls.
[2023/08/20 16:06] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan puts out a hand and hisses: "Goblins! Coming this way!"
[2023/08/20 16:07] Sonja Bikergrrl: What are you going to do?
[2023/08/20 16:08] Alicia Frakture: Leesha sighs." Get them to town."
[2023/08/20 16:08] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Ambush?" She looks around for a good place to hide behind or if it makes more sense to just run for it.
[2023/08/20 16:09] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan: "Two of them, heading this way, I think they seen us!"
[2023/08/20 16:10] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): is looking around for good position to hide and to help the rest of the group to hide
[2023/08/20 16:11] Alicia Frakture: Leesha pulls out her wrench."You three, get goblins to town.. I'm in a mood."
[2023/08/20 16:12] Sonja Bikergrrl: The two gobins come close, and you can see them looking around at you, and then they look to each other. "Hey! They many!" The other agrees. "We run!" They turn and quickly start to run back the way they came.
[2023/08/20 16:14] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): /me has a look of surprise at the reaction of the approaching goblins, "Didn't expect that"
[2023/08/20 16:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: two goblins vs a party of eight? Even goblins aren't -that- daft... or brave
[2023/08/20 16:15] Alicia Frakture: Leesha shrugs."let's go before they get back up
[2023/08/20 16:15] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): gets moving with the group quickly then
[2023/08/20 16:15] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "They're going to warn their boss about us," Debben says. "Let's hurry," she adds, since they lack decent ranged weapons to respond without a crummy chase.
[2023/08/20 16:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: Ransee flings a small flask at one. It hits a fleeing goblin squarely in the back of his head, and shatters, exploding in a small puff of flame! The goblin screams, with his head on fire, and runs faster, beating at his head!
[2023/08/20 16:18] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben will take the chance to launch an illusion at the non flaming one, to make the roots below their feet feel twisty and dangerous, hoping to trick them into either tripping or moving slower to watch their step.
[2023/08/20 16:19] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben casts a spell - and the goblin starts hopping around, back and forth, around and around. "Aaaah! Trees alive! Trees alive!"
[2023/08/20 16:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: (Out of spells, Debben)
[2023/08/20 16:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: What now?
[2023/08/20 16:20] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: (( Yep! But fouling a scout party seems worth it given my stuff is all single-target at this level. ))

[2023/08/20 16:22] Sonja Bikergrrl: Probably for the best, it being night time... Ransee looks smug, and proclaims proudly, "Big magic!" The trees pass as you move on..... until....
[2023/08/20 16:23] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "It's actually impressive," she admits. "I'd like to learn how it works."
[2023/08/20 16:23] Sonja Bikergrrl: Mega puts a hand out again. "Sssh! Someone coming, quick!"
[2023/08/20 16:25] Sonja Bikergrrl: You can hear canine snarls and low curses, getting louder.
[2023/08/20 16:25] Alicia Frakture: Leesha turns in the direction of the sounds. Wrench still in her hand
[2023/08/20 16:26] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben, Dahlia?
[2023/08/20 16:27] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben tightens her grip on her spear, checking her belt for any caltrops or if she's limited to just oil. "Ransee, keep at least one of those fires in reserve for when I tell you."
[2023/08/20 16:27] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): /me turns in the direction of the sounds, taking a moment to carefully pull her sling from her pack just in case
[2023/08/20 16:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: You see a goblin riding a wolf. The goblin sees you, but doesn't seem so put off, he just jumps off the wolf and points. "Get 'em, Fang!" The wolf bounds forwards, snarling, and the goblin follows, spear ready.
[2023/08/20 16:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: You have initiative, what do you do?
[2023/08/20 16:29] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is going to charge the wolf roaring at it. Hoping for the chance to scare the wolf while swinging the wrench
[2023/08/20 16:30] Sonja Bikergrrl: d20
[2023/08/20 16:30] Sonja Bikergrrl: You swing, but the wolf ducks easily!
[2023/08/20 16:31] Alicia Frakture: What about the intimidation attempt?
[2023/08/20 16:31] Sonja Bikergrrl: It was a nice try!

[2023/08/20 16:31] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben gets the oil out, attempting to splash the wolf with it while it's busy fighting with Leesha
[2023/08/20 16:32] Sonja Bikergrrl: ffs... Megan takes a swing at the wolf and trips over a tree root, and falls flat on her face, narrowly avoiding landing on her sword

[2023/08/20 16:33] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): /me watching the scene unfold before her , she would load her sling and take aim at the goblin that had been on the wolf

[2023/08/20 16:34] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben splashes oil about.... just not on the wolf!
[2023/08/20 16:35] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dhalias' sling stone injures the wolf, making it howl loudly
[2023/08/20 16:35] Sonja Bikergrrl: holy moly
[2023/08/20 16:35] Sonja Bikergrrl: Gnoink jabs with his spear and doesn't so much hit as literally slam the wolf back against a tree, killing it!
[2023/08/20 16:36] Alicia Frakture: /me blinks
[2023/08/20 16:36] Sonja Bikergrrl: Wruk jabs at the goblin with his spear and kills him, the fight is over :O
[2023/08/20 16:37] Sonja Bikergrrl: (So much for thinking the dice were biased to low rolls!)
[2023/08/20 16:37] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan rises slowly, spitting out a mouthful of mud and cursing under her breath
[2023/08/20 16:38] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Where -did- the oil land?
[2023/08/20 16:38] Sonja Bikergrrl: Gnoink and Wruk look proud. "We big warriors!"
[2023/08/20 16:38] Sonja Bikergrrl: Mostly splattered all about.
[2023/08/20 16:38] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Alright," she sighs, "Yeah, I'll grant you that." She corks the remainder of her oil, saving it for later fights. Something she needs to refill as well.
[2023/08/20 16:38] Alicia Frakture: Leesha puts her wrench away, and smiles."Yep, you definitely are. Good job."
[2023/08/20 16:39] Sonja Bikergrrl: The goblins give the equivalent of a high five, which looks like slapping each other on the shoulder as hard as they can
[2023/08/20 16:39] Sonja Bikergrrl: And the escort mission pauses there, for time grows short!
[2023/08/20 16:41] Sonja Bikergrrl: Still a way to go to safety... so... don't get -too- confident... just yet ;)
